Young people look Blankly at me & say "What's that mean"?, "I don't know what you're saying" etc.

Because they use totally different Sayings/ Meanings.

They say "Sick" to mean Cool or Groovy.

Sick (to me) means "I'm feeling ill & I'm gonna Vomit"...

Grey Sand Soil here - No clay - The soil is pure sand (grey).

& Birdseed, that my Birds all chuck out of their cages (through the wire).

I have about 9 different Finch species.

Java Finches were the last ones I bought some of - They're lovely.

@Adge I just googled Java Finches... gorgeous.  I saw a wild Goldfinch once, when there were still a few paddocks here.
